In addition, Guoxing COB has successfully solved two problems: First, the COB light source has heat dissipation due to heat concentration. The structure is designed to ensure smooth heat dissipation, and the junction temperature of the COB light source is below the safe value.
The second is to use the reflector or lens structure of the scale structure to solve the color uniformity of the lamp spot. The technical breakthroughs in these two aspects have ensured the life and light quality of Guoxing COB lamps.
Of course, if COB light source wants to continue to improve the cost performance and further increase its advantages in commercial photography, it needs to start from the following three aspects:
First, the thermal conductivity of the COB substrate should be improved, and the light extraction efficiency should be increased, so that the integration degree will increase, and the power per unit area can be made higher;
Second, LED chips need to continue to improve cost performance, especially for medium power chips. Most of the cost of COB is determined by the chip.
Finally, to improve the automation of COB production equipment, the current production level of COB production equipment is not high, its production efficiency is low, and production costs are high.
In the future development of COB, on the one hand, it will develop towards standardization, standardized form factor, standardized electrical parameters, and standardized color binning. On the one hand, it will develop towards higher integration and improve the cost performance of COB light source.
The application direction of COB is still in the place where the characteristics of its light source can be exerted. In the commercial lighting, the key lighting, track spotlight and ceiling light should be the development field.
